"to all UNSC personnel, gravity shift incoming." -announcer.
gravity shifts are events in the rise of the dark nemesis series.
gravity shifts are a mix of a tornado and a supernova, they can cause thousands of damage in colonies, cities, military property and more. gravity shifts were first encountered in 2562 by UNSC personnel.
EF0s are weak, and can stay for 5 minutes, EF0 gravity shifts are not that dangerous.
EF1s are less weak but more powerful. EF1 gravity shifts can damage small structures and can carry debris.
EF2s are stronger variants. they can stay up to 1 hour. EF2s can damage larger structures and can carry vehicles.
EF3s are the dangerous ones. they can stay up for 2 hours. EF3 gravity shifts can damage military property such as outposts.
EF4s are considered as the dangerous one. they can stay up for 5 to 10 hours. EF4s can destroy aircraft such as a pelican, even in mid-air.
also known as "category dreadnought", the EF5 gravity shifts are the most dangerous ones. they can last up to 24 hours. EF5s can destroy an entire planet in minutes, if EF5s occur, the entire population must evacuate the planet before it is destroyed, even if the cole protocol was activated.
- the EF5 earned it's nickname from its massive damage it has done to erbus in 2562.
- the EF5 is ultra rare, and can appear if solar flares occur in the planet's location.
- the others are not ultra rare. EF0, 1 and 2 are common, while EF3 and 4 are rare.
